Sanitary Ventilation and Condensation Control
In food processing and meat-packing facilities, managing ambient moisture is a food safety imperative. Uncontrolled steam and heat from cooking vats condense on cold ceilings, creating breeding grounds for Listeria and Salmonella. High-volume Roof Extractor fans are deployed to continuously evacuate this moisture-laden air, preventing overhead condensation from dripping onto the production line.
Washdown-Duty Engineering
Because these facilities undergo aggressive daily chemical washdowns, the extraction fans must be engineered to survive high-pressure hosing. Housings and impellers are fabricated from 304 or 316 Stainless Steel with continuous, crevice-free welds to eliminate bacterial harboring points. The motors must be strictly Washdown-Duty rated (IP69K), featuring encapsulated epoxy windings and double-sealed stainless bearings.
