Combining Centrifugal Force and Atomization
Cyclonic spray scrubbers bridge the gap between particulate removal and gas absorption. The contaminated gas enters tangentially at the base of the cylindrical tower, establishing a high-velocity cyclonic spin. Simultaneously, a central manifold sprays high-pressure scrubbing liquid outward toward the walls.
Radial Collision and Liquid Film Scrubbing
The centrifugal force pushes the heavy particulates outward, where they violently collide with the radial water spray. Upon hitting the outer wall, the liquid forms a continuous downward-flowing film. The toxic gases are forced to spin through this massive liquid surface area, facilitating rapid chemical mass transfer before the clean gas discharges through the top.
